All of our ADA/wayfinding plaques are designed and manufactured to meet ADA requirements, and made from solid metal in order to provide a superior product that will not chip or crack.
You can choose from base metal, painted colors or up to 1200 dpi photographic images for the surfaces of your plaques. All plaques are UV-stable, exterior-grade.
Our patent-pending ADA process does not use loose beads for Braille, nor rely on imperfect, noncompliant castings. The result is a breathtaking example of how ADA-compliant signs in the form of a precision-tooled Gemini plaque don’t have to be a distraction from a project’s overall beauty, but instead can enhance it.

The raised painted copy can be virtually any color, but colors should provide sufficient contrast to meet ADA regulations for visibility. These high-end plaques come with a vandal-resistant powdercoat that protects the image and the copy. Gemini warrants these products for interior use, although they will last under most moderate weathering conditions.
For use in wayfinding where Braille or raised copy is not required, these panels have your 1200 dpi full-color image printed on Lexan, aluminum, brass, bronze or stainless steel — simply choose your material, thickness and shape, and supply a high-quality image. Custom cast plaques, produced per your art, to fill the needs of directional way finding signage. Projected Wayfinding Plaques are designed for mounting to flat walls or posts, with plaques and brackets cast in one piece - or to round posts, with the addition of secondary cast hardware accessory. Cast as a single or double sided plaques, in aluminum or bronze - available in most standard plaque finish options - up to 10" high x 20" long x around 1/2" thick. Mounting hardware not included.

Machine screws, passing through plaque holes, with or without decorative rosettes. Screws are either bonded into wall holes with adhesive or a combination of adhesives and anchors – based on wall and plaque size and weight. (view drawing)

Machine screws are inserted through 5/16”-thick black anodized stakes into the back of the plaque. Maximum plaque size is 12” x 8” for one stake or 20” x 8” for two stakes. Available in heights of 24”, 36” and 48”. (view larger image)
Black painted aluminum brackets are attached to the back of the plaque with machine screws. An aluminum square post bolts into the bracket at a 45˚ or 90˚ angle. Plaques over 24” wide require two posts. Posts are available in heights of 6’ or 8’. A 1”-wide post is recommended for plaques up to 250 square inches, 1-1/2” for plaques up to 450 square inches, and 2” for plaques up to 720 square inches.
