Standard thin gauge wayfinding plaques feature raised brushed copy in the metal of your choice: aluminum, brass or bronze. Background colours can be chosen from any of Gemini’s standard paint colours (darker background colours produce superior results). Choose from any of our standard plaque background textures:stipple or sand.
Painted copy, thin gauge wayfinding plaques are one-piece aluminum construction with raised painted copy against a painted background. Both colors can be chosen from any of Gemini’s standard paint colors (darker background colors produce superior results). Pricing includes one raised copy color and one background color. Choose from any of our standard plaque background textures: stipple or sand.
Why settle for mediocre when you can have the best? These all-metal ADA plaques have your 1200 dpi full-color image as the background for any ADA / wayfinding application. The raised painted copy can be virtually any color, but colors should provide sufficient contrast to meet ADA regulations for visibility. These high-end plaques come with a vandal-resistant powdercoat that protects the image and the copy. Gemini warrants these products for interior use, although they will last under most moderate weathering conditions.

Back of plaque is drilled and tapped to receive threaded studs. Studs are pressed into pre-drilled wall holes and secured with adhesive and/or anchors – based on the wall type and letter weight. Studs can be aligned in-line for brick or block mortar upon request. View drawing

Machine screws are inserted through 5/16″-thick black anodized stakes into the back of the plaque. Maximum plaque size is 12″ x 8″ for one stake or 20″ x 8″ for two stakes. Available in heights of 24,” 36″ and 48″.
Black painted aluminum brackets are attached to the back of the plaque with machine screws. An aluminum square post bolts into the bracket at a 45˚ or 90˚ angle. Plaques over 24” wide require two posts. Posts are available in heights of 6’ or 8’. A 1”-wide post is recommended for plaques up to 250 square inches, 1-1/2” for plaques up to 450 square inches, and 2” for plaques up to 720 square inches. View drawing
